Hi Guys!

It's me, Winnie. Long time, no meow. How have you all been?

I've been OK. Can't say I'm real happy about the cool change in the weather of late. It seriously cramps my style as an outdoor cat, if you know what I mean. Trying to concentrate on running and climbing and hunting insects and staring down the three-legged cat across the street is tough work when you're freezing your tail off! Brrr...

Anyway, you're probably all wondering why I'm taking over this particular Winchester Wednesday. Well, I noticed a few 'old' photos of Katy and her previous cats lying around and I couldn't resist going through them.

MMAO! (aka 'Meow My Ass Off!') When I say 'old' I mean OLD! We're talking the 1970s, man! And the 1980s, dude! And the 1990s, dog! Talk about funny!!! The fur-dos on those cats back then. Ha! Wait until you see the stylin' of Tegan!

Anyway, since Katy regularly posts photos of me here for all the world to see I decided a little payback was in order. She doesn't think I know about her posting 'this photo' in Winchester Wednesday #6 but I do. Besides, it's only fair that the cats who came before me in those pre-internet days (whut?!?) get their time in the spotlight. Oh, and there's a few more photos of wee!katy like this one...

Winchester Wednesday Goes Retro... )

Here they are at long last. Approximately 810 photos from two days of Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins in Sydney 2009.

I took over 1600 photos however not all are worthy of the bandwidth it would take to upload and download them. Instead I've sorted the photos into three categories - 'Fair'. 'Better', and 'Best'. The photos which were just too blurry and uninteresting, I scrapped.

The photos which made it to one of the above categories have all been resized and zipped into manageable zip files.

If you have limited download capability I recommend downloading the 'Best' zip files only and possibly the 'Better' zip files.

Details and Download Links are below the cut... )

A collection of approximately 40 photos from Day 2 of All Hell Breaks Loose in Australia.

I have more which I will post in some shape or form, along with my Day 1 photos, later in the week. It'll take me some time because I want to post larger versions for you all.

Feel free to link or take but please credit me if used or reposted. Ta.

Enjoy. :)

Onward to the boys... sorry, I mean... Onward to the MEN! )

Today's the day, the day the third season of Kyle XY premieres. \O/

I started watching Kyle over (my) summer and it only took me a couple of weeks to catch up on the first two seasons. Having it back on tonight is extra exciting because it'll be the first time I'm watching it as it airs and then I'm going to have wait a full week until the next episode. It's going to be pure torture!

At least I have a new episodes of Leverage tomorrow and that other show we are all so fond of, Supernatural, on Thursday to fill in the time in between.

Nope, TV doesn't rule my life. I'm sure of it... I think.

Not tagged but I wanted to do it anyway.
1. Open the 5th picture folder on your computer.
2. Open the 5th picture and post it on your blog.
3. Explain the picture.
4. Tag 8 people to do the same! If you'd like to do it, knock yourself out. :)

I snapped this photo late last year during a trip to Newcastle for a friend's birthday. On the Saturday afternoon before the party we went to Nelson Bay where we found this little dude. Actually he wasn't that little but I must have liked him because this is the 5th photo I took of him and there is another 18 after this one. ;)

Hello! Long time no write :)

I can't believe my birthday was a week ago. It doesn't seem that long ago but perhaps that's because it continued over this past weekend.

Friday night I went out to dinner with work!bff for my birthday and then we watched Supernatural 4x07. As much as I love the zany episodes, it was nice to get back to the serious issues at hand. It was also great to see Castiel back. I've missed that little guy!

Saturday afternoon my sister, Jenny, and her two kids, Samantha and Nicholas, dropped by with my birthday present which looked exactly like this:

They got me a little kitty!!!

Her name is Winchester, aka. Winnie, and she is adorable and cute and sooky and snuggly and soft and perfect!

Saturday night I went to my friends Glenn and Tanya's place for dinner with them and Caz, Trent and Campbell.
Or at least that's what I was going there for... )

Today was a public holiday in Melbourne because of The Melbourne Cup. The Melbourne Cup is a horse race.
So, yep, I didn't have to go to work because of horse race. \O/
I love my city!!!

1) *Claps Hands*

2) Feeling a little better today but I still have a generel malaise. At least the sun is out and my hair is somewhat better.

3) I took a few photos of my trip to the city on Saturday. There's only about nine photos and they aren't very big. Photos: My Town, Melbourne...  )

4) Happy *insert appropriate day of the week here*

1). 8 Sleeps! ^The boys are getting ready for the premiere^. Whoo hoo!

2). I have the best friends ever! [livejournal.com profile] munibunny got me something very special and it arrived yesterday. You've probably all seen a million pics of one of these but I couldn't resist showing off my very own mini!Impala.

My new set of wheels...  )

3. More on the subject of 'best friends ever' - I want to thank you all.

[livejournal.com profile] missyjack got me a little sentimental yesterday with her post here. Days like yesterday made me realise how ace it is to be able to log on to LJ and share the joy and excitement of little things like J2 moving in together, or getting a new Hot Wheels Car, or fandom related art with all of you guys, knowing that you will experience just as much joy and excitement, and that you wont think I'm a complete and utter crackpot. THANK YOU! ♥

Where I ramble some more... )

4. Yesterday I was a little early for work. Today I'm going to be a little late. Ooops.

5. Happy *insert day of the week here*!

Big holes all over Australia.

Ha! Is there anything as funny as an elephant joke? I think not.

But you'll be glad to know there is more to this post than a lame, yet amusing, jokes. It's time for...

Katy's Holiday Photos!

Remember I went on holiday with my mum recently? Well, turns out it wasn't as recent as I thought. It's been almost four weeks since I got home. Times sure flies. Anyway, I said I'd post some photos and the video of the kangaroo and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

The thing is, there are a lot of photos so I've broken them up into four posts with between 7 to 15 photos per post.

This here is my one and only video:

Check out this little guy's 'radar' ears! This was one of the kangaroos we saw on Day 3. He probably ended up about 3 metres away from me while I was filming this.

Thanks for looking :)

Dean: Sammy, you wanna spit it out some time this year?
Sam: I, umm, just wanted to do something nice for you so I, umm, took your baby in to get, umm, detailed but... but...
Dean: But what, Sam?
Sam: There was a mix up at the shop and, oh god, please don't be mad at me Dean. I don't know how...
Dean: Sam, what have you done?
Sam: I'm sorry.
Dean: SAM!!!

'Back in Metallic Purple' just doesn't have the same ring as 'Back in Black', does it? )

Happy Weekend!

1) Second day of my holidays today and I took my niece and nephew to see Kung Fu Panda. It was kind of cute. Not a must-rush-out-and-buy-on-DVD type movie but it made me laugh and the kids enjoyed it.

2) I got my haircut this evening and thought I'd take a picture to share because it's never going to look like this again. It's always so shiny when I leave the hairdressers and I have no idea how I'm going to go when I get around to drying it tomorrow morning.

Me )

3) Is it just me or is it meme season? Anyway, I've been stockpiling the ones going around and here's one to get me started.

What crap does Katy carry around in her purse everyday? )

4) Oooh, I GOT X-FILES TICKETS!!! \O/
Lisa and I are going to a 7pm screening on Wednesday the 23rd July. Mulder and Scully. Back together. On the big screen. *sigh* And it's only 13 sleeps.

5) I'm watching Smallville ep1x18. It has bees in it. Lots of bees. I wonder if Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum talk about these bees as much as Jensen Ackles talks about the bees from 'Bugs'...

6) And because I thought this was fairly accurate:

Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street? )

1) Mood Theme.
There was a time when I would always use the mood theme thingy but lately not so much. That's about to change because I got myself a new mood theme. *snoopy dance* The wonderful and extremely patient (you gotta be both to make a mood theme) [livejournal.com profile] insaneboingo has created a Steve Carlson Mood Theme. Ace!

2) Jared doing the robot and Jared shirtless from New York Minute - ICONS

3) Jeffrey Dean Morgan #1 - VIDEO
A couple of weeks back I posted about seeing Jeffrey Dean Morgan on The View. Well, the episode was repeated last night and I was able to record it and upload it to YouTube, if you're interested.
JDM on The View talking about Grey's, The Accidental Husband, his scar and firemen and being his usual charming self... )

5. Supanova Photos
I never got around to posting my official photos with Jared and Jewel from Supanova so, here they are.

Jareds Angels_cropped
Jared's Angels.
After much discussion, we decided to do the 'Charlie's Angel' thing for our group photo on the Sunday. Jared was ace about it. When we told him what we wanted to do he simply said, "I'll just act cool." Personally, I think he nailed it. *nods*

Here be three more... )

6) How's your weekend / long weekend?

( Jun. 19th, 2008 12:26 am)
Work!bff and I went for a walk at lunch time today and we made it as far as the beach at St Kilda West. It wasn't exactly the weather for the beach but it was a nice way to spend the hour. Or more accurately one hour and twenty minutes... but don't tell anyone. :)

How I spent my lunch... )

Of course, I'm talking about user Icons.

These little 100 px X 100 px pieces of art are only tiny but such a blast to make. Surprisingly, they also provide a great opportunity to sharpen up on your Photoshop skills. Especially when most of your base photos are screencaps from a TV show where the lighting tends to be on the extreme side of dark. Fun.
