1) *Claps Hands*
2) Feeling a little better today but I still have a generel malaise. At least the sun is out and my hair is somewhat better.
3) I took a few photos of my trip to the city on Saturday. There's only about nine photos and they aren't very big.
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Saturday 13th September, 2008

National Art Gallery of Victoria. At the?moment they have an exhibition on Art Deco and how it evolved. My favorite item on display was a car from the period. Seriously, Dean Winchester is making me into a rev head! (...and once again all things lead back to Supernatural)

Looking up St Kilda Road towards the Shrine of Remembrance. (Note for work!bff: they are both Z3 class trams)

Floral Clock in the Queen Victoria Gardens. And yep, it really tells the time. It was a present from the Swiss., I think.

Close up of clock flowers.

Ferris Wheel at Birrarung Marr, on the bank of the Yarra River and the Melbourne Cricket Ground (aka. The MCG or simply 'The G').

It was such a bright, warm and sunny day it seemed every woman, man, and his dog were out enjoying the arrival of spring.

Ye olde time transport.

This is looking the other way along the Yarra. On the left bank is Southgate, which is full of restaurants, cafes and various retail outlets. See the arrow pointing to a building at the top of the photo? That's where I used to work. *sigh* I miss it.

Flinders Street Station. I'm sure it's more yellow in real life...
The end. :)
4) Happy *insert appropriate day of the week here*

Why oh why isn't it Thursday yet?!?!?!?!?!
Pretty pics! I love art deco stuff. What kind of car was it? Seriously, Dean Winchester is making me into a rev head! (...and once again all things lead back to Supernatural) Hee heee! I have my dad trained in the art of Impala-spotting now.
Hey...are those poppies? Dork that I am, I always say "poppies...pahhhhppies" like the Wicked Witch of the West. Wait...I think we had that discussion once before. *facepalm*

Yep, it's nearly Thursday! Just another sleep or so \O/
The car was a beautiful shiny blue Cord. It was gorgeous. Seriously, I would love to cruise around town in that thing although I'd probably be too scared to take it out on the road. ;)

It's just that there is that long delay of when it goes to air in the USA and when I finally get it on my PC, ready to watch. :D

I think Melbourne is a beautiful city but I might be a little biased ;) I can't imagine living anywhere else. :)
