Hey, Tuesday! Pig 'n a Poke!

★ I have new friends! Hi there sin_of_pride, emotikka, powerof3, and honeyone! I update my journal fairly randomly but I always update on a Tuesday. Always. Anyway, welcome!


★ My favourite singer in the whole wide world is Richard Marx. I've loved him since I first heard 'Don't mean nothing' on American Top 40 with Casey Kasem back in 1987. I've seen him live three times - he doesn't tour Australia too often - and I have all his albums. Or at least I thought I did. I was kind of mortified to find out he'd released two albums on 31st October that I hadn't even known about let alone purchased. How did that happen? Suffice to say, the situation has now been rectified and I am now the proud owner of two new Richard Marx albums! \O/ I haven't listened to them yet but it's a bit exciting :)


★ Winchester is settling in just fine. Can you tell?





It didn't take her long to figure out the keyboard of my laptop is nice and warm. She looks all cute lying there but this is one behaviour I plan on nipping in the bud. I've just got to make her realise that. ;)



She can be very stealthy.



She can also be very scary. :)



And then she can be very playful.


★ I have a new layout - katysam.
It's frustrating me at the moment because I don't understand Internet browsers. The header looks fine in Firefox and Google Chrome but in Internet Explorer, the bottom is cut off. :( Also, layers and CSS in LiveJournal Land is very very confusing.


★ I've started watching Kyle XY from the beginning again. It's adorable how innocent Kyle is to begin with. He's so sweet I just want to wrap him up and take him home. I finished watching season two a couple of month ago and I wasn't looking forward to waiting until 2009 to see Season 3. Turns out I don't have to wait. I just checked IMDB and it says episode 3x01 premieres on 21st November 2008. That's in ten days time! *glee*

I tried watching Kyle XY but I couldn't get into it. And then I could never remember when it was on, because it was on ABC Family. Meh, I don't know. Maybe I'll give it another shot. That's what I did with Supernatural, and now I'm a junkie

Winnie is just over 9 weeks old. I've only had her for about a week and a half but she already rules the house.

I loved Kyle XY from the beginning. I fell in love with the character of Kyle and the story had me totally intrigued. It premiered here about three months ago (we are a little behind when it comes to TV) and the only reason I knew about it before it aired here was because I knew Nick Lea from X-Files was in it.

So, which episode of Supernatural convinced you you should be watching it? :)

Agree totally - HTML codes are definitely evil. This is the first time I've used the 'Generator' layout and I thought I had it all worked out but then I realised it didn't display userpics for each entry. And I need userpics. Luckily someone had already created the code and I found and it worked first time. It made my tags disappear but I can live without tags more than I can live without userpics. :)
