THINGS I LOVED:
- The Boys are Back in Town
And they are in suits! Spiffy. - Gentle!Sammy
This frame. Check out Sam's hand on Dean's arm and his other hand engulfing Dean's smaller hand as he takes the hex bag from him.
I've already made icons & I'll post them later.
Sneak peek:
- Poor Bugs
Dean's reaction as he turned around and came face to face with the dead bunny was priceless. Poor little guy. - RUBY!!!
Hi, my name is Katy and I love Ruby. I get the feeling some people may think I need therapy for this little issue. I've seen so many negative things written about the character (and actress). The fact that she's there to help the boys earns her major brownie points and I really do think she's there to help the boys. After all, she's not like the other demons. The scenes involving Dean and her were wonderful. - All demons were once human
Still a bit of processing to do on this one but I like this theory. It gives me hope that demons have a chance to be redeemed. If someone helps them they can claw their way back to their former human self. This makes me feel a lot better about Sam and his fate. But at the minute, not so much about Dean's. What I don't get is, what makes Ruby different. - Supernatural Action Figures or Batman & Robin
The way the boys came zooming up in the Impala and jumped out to save Mr. Dutton. Oh, boys. - Detective Bachman & Detective Turner
They must have so much fun making up false Ids. - You're the shortbus, shortbus
What are they? Seven? I really liked Ruby and Dean's exchange after she had saved his life. On first viewing, however, I had no idea what word they used to insult each other. I thought it was 'shortbus' but that just made no sense to me. It was only this morning when I looked 'shortbus' up on Urbandictionary.Com, that all became clear. Now I freakin' love that scene. That makes me a bad person, right? So not politically correct. - Dean cannot be saved
No, I don't love that Dean cannot be saved. What I love is that Ruby confirmed it. I believe Dean has been thinking all along something will come up, that someone will find a way to save him and he won't have to go to hell. So far he's been resting any such hope on Sammy and Bobby. Why? Well, besides knowing his little brother is far too stubborn to give up and to just accept Dean's fate, it was in no small part because of what Ruby told Sam. All that hope has now been dashed. - Quotes:
Dean: "And why's the rabbit always get screwed in the deal? Poor little guy."
Ruby: "Put a leash on your brother, Sam, if you want to keep him."
Dean: "You black eyed skank!"
Ruby: "It's called witchcraft, shortbus."
Dean: "You're the shortbus, shortbus."
Dean: (mouthing) "Told you so."
THINGS I LIKED:
- The Dutton household gets added to the Easter Bunny's schedule
Losing teeth has never been so horrific. Gross. - Music
It's true. Every rose has it's thorn. - Witches
Hey, did anyone else keep expecting (wishing) Willow would turn up and start defending witches? Perhaps I just really wanted to hear Dean start singing, "Which is ridiculous because witches they were persecuted, wicca good, and love the earth, and woman power and I'll be over here..." in an attempt to appease her. - Tammy
She got to do the one thing I wanted to do Renee. Go Tammy! But, who exactlyiswas she?
She did confirm there is definitely division in the demon ranks. Those who think Sammy should be the leader and those who don't.
THINGS I DID NOT SO MUCH CARE FOR:
- Bloody wrists
Now, I'm enjoying season three's new 'more blood, the better' policy but the slit wrists was a little more than I wanted to see. Having said that, the shot taken from below, of Amanda laying on the glass table with the pools of blood around her arms and Dean looking over her shoulder was rather striking. - Mrs. Renee. Van Allen.
I so wanted to slap her. Hard.
THINGS I'VE BEEN LEFT TO PONDER
- Dean's Amulet.
Is there really any magic in it? If that amulet is for protection it's doing a shitty job. - Mary
Is it possible Mary was a witch? Or at some stage she was a witch, who left her coven and the Demon she sold her soul to? - A new leader rising in the west.
Who? What? When? This show is beginning to do my head in.

2. OMFFFFG YES *SQUEEEEEEEEEE*
6. hehe. *g*
9. Good point! I know Kripke is going to leave us to the very last second on this one...
What I don't get is, what makes Ruby different.
ME EITHER. That was TOTALLY not explained.
I WANTED TO SLAP RENEE TOO. Grrrr.
INORITE? Dean's amulet is frustrating, becuase right when we find out something about it, we are left with a million more questions and things aren't adding up. And I've been thinking about the possibility of Mary being a witch, too. I think my sister actually brought it up over the summer. Anyway, that would explain how she knows the YED. And maybe she was supposed to die since she sold her soul, so Sam was destined because of something she did? I find it hard to believe that John would have no idea after all these years, but there's got to be something special about Mary...
DUDE, I WANT TO KNOW WHO THE OTHER LEADER IS!

I don't think we've heard the last of Ruby or her past. Hopefully all will be revealed at some point.
John not knowing about Mary's secret past or special abilities may not be so far fetched. John didn't grow up surrounded by the Supernatural and before Mary was killed he would have had no reason in the world to suspect monsters or anything supernatural really existed. When Sam was at Stanford, he managed to keep his former life a secret from Jess. Sure, they hadn't been together as long as Mary and John but Sam successfully removed himself from his past for at least couple of years before Dean showed up. Mary may have done the same thing, or thought she had, until her past caught up with her.
I look forward to reading your epic post :)

Ya, I hope we learn more about her. Then it'd be less like she just dropped out of no where.
Oh, good point! John would have no reason to suspect and Sam was able to keep the past a secret from Jess. Hmmmm. I wonder if something like this would have crossed John's mind after he became a hunter, though.
