The rules are that for 8 days you have to post something that made you happy that day.

Day 5: I have a list of things today.

1. Having our team Christmas Lunch for work at the The Willows today. There was even Egg Nog.
   
2. Knowing I don't have to be back at work until January 5th 2009. \O/
   
3. Bringing my white Christmas tree and Castiel tree topper home. I think it makes Winnie happy too... I've already found a candy cane on the floor. As long as I don't find Castiel on the floor, it's all good.
   
4. Being in bed at 9:30 PM
   
5. Falling asleep by 9:40 PM. The thought of this makes me happy even if it doesn't actually happen.

Day 4: Finishing baking 100+ cookies and finally getting to fall into bed at 2:26 AM.


Happiness is also seeing Misha Collins on the telly tonight in an episode of Close to Home. ( Misha... )

Today wasn't the best Tuesdays in the history of Tuesdays but it did have it's highlights.

★ munibunny sent me a copy of A Christmas Cottage and it arrived today! \O/ I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but I'm hoping to on Thursday. ♥

★ Worf!bff and I were somewhat rebellious at work today and decided for one reason or another, we deserved an extra long lunch. It's been tough on work!bff... You know, having to work and all after two weeks holiday. We got back to our desks a little after we should have... a big little after we should have. ;)

★ During lunch work!bff was telling me how he is addicted to a game on Facebook called 'Guess the Sketch'. It's like Pictionary and players take it in turns to guess what another player is drawing.

This afternoon, we decided to play our own version of the game.

( Of course, it ended up being all about Supernatural )

★ In between long lunches and playing 'Pictionary' I did actually get some work done. I'm not a complete slacker...

Summary: When Jensen moved in with Jared it didn't take them long to realise, no matter how well they get on, they were going to need rules. Every now and then it's necessary to add to those rules.
Author's Note: Last week I found out that Jensen's guilty pleasure is Dr. Phil. I posted a scan of the magazine article here and this story came about due to popular request. At Chateau Padackles there is an unwritten rule which states the Play Station must be turned off long enough for Jensen to watch Dr. Phil and for Jared to watch Days of Our Lives. For what it's worth, Jared started watching Days while checking out the re-runs to see baby!Jensen. And while the show no longer holds the appeal it once did, aka. Jensen, he is none the less addicted.

At Chateau Padackles there is another rule, written this time, which states Jensen must never use any medical knowledge gained from Dr. Phil to attempt to diagnose any illness, psychological or physiological, which Jared, or his dogs, may or may not have.

Yeah, so I'm mildly disturbed about Dr. Phil being Jensen's 'guilty pleasure'... o_O

★ On the train on the way to work today I was re-watching the first episode of Leverage and completely missed my stop! When I first watched the episode months ago I don't remember being all that fussed about it but this morning I was totally engrossed in it. All of a sudden it was dark outside the train and it took me a moment to realise we were in The Loop already. *facepalm* I'm totally blaming geeky!christian for that.

Can anyone tell me when the next episode of Leverage airs? Is it tonight? Or next Sunday or Tuesday? *is confused*


★ I filled up my car with petrol yesterday and only paid 99.9c per litre. \O/ It hasn't been that cheap in months. In October we were paying up to $1.50c per litre. It's so ace filling the tank and only having to hand over $40.


★ Wow. This is the post in which I talk about the price of petrol. This isn't going to go down as the most exciting post in the history of posts, is it? Sorry about that. *sigh*


★ Winnie is currently snoozing on my foot. I'm very grateful she's not biting it like she normally does but she goes from sleep to full power in less than 1.3 seconds so my toes are still facing imminent danger. ;)
