2. 26,500 Supernatural Season Three DVD boxsets will come with a 1:64 scale 1967 Chevy Impala. That is cool as! It's a pity I ordered my S3 DVDs from Amazon on Wednesday and my closest Best Buy store is about 8887 kilometres away. In Hawaii.
3. YKYMWTMSW... you consider the logistics of jumping on a plane to get to the above mentioned store to get the DVDs. Hehehe! Just kiddin' ;) Although, it is kind of tempting because it would also give me the chance to meetmunibunny which I would love to do. :)
4. I don't recall anyone on my flist talking about Kyle XY, or at least not recently, but does anyone watch it? The pilot episode premiered on telly last night and I really enjoyed it. I guess I just want to know if it's any good going forward and if I should consider making a serious commitment to it every Thursday night at 9:30. Comments anyone? Thanks :)
5. I had my haircut last night. It's no good. It's short and I can't figure out how to dry it and my new super duper, ionic powered, shine enhancing, frizz reducing hairdryer did not help one little bit.
6. Work!bff and I took a tram into the city at lunch time. We wanted to get a mini basketball hoop for our desk at work (best not to ask...), a Crumpler iPod case for work!bff, German crosswords for my Grandma, and Supernatural Rising Son #5 for me. We scored 3 out of 4 - no basketball hoop. I also picked up the Watchmen graphic novel which could probably count as another YKYMWTMSW... moment.
7. I'm watching Supernatural 'Bloody Mary' on Fox 8 at the minute. Out of all the Urban Legends, I think Bloody Mary scares me the most. It's not like I believe 'she' exists but if there is a reflective surface nearby I cannot bring myself to say her name once, let alone three times, without getting all cold and shivery. And if someone taunts me and pretends like they are going to say it three times *glares at work!bff* I kind of freak out. *is totally irrational*
Random Episode Observations: Sammy is just a boy in this ep, with bangs. Dean is wearing a red shirt, I thought I was watching Smallville for a second there.
Random Episode Pondering: Will we ever find out why Dean's eyes were bleeding...

It was in the comic section, on the counter, next to the Buffy Comics. It's bright yellow. You can't miss it. I wasn't even looking for it and I found it. *lol*

2) I gotta have that teeny tiny Impala. That's a bummer that you don't have the same offers where you are, but at least they're going to have the car separately "in the very near future." At which point I will probably buy another one. :) It's very nitpicky, but I wish it had four doors.
3) YKYMWTMSW... you know what YKYMWTMSW stands for. ;)
4) I watched the first season of Kyle XY and loved it! I have the second season on my iTunes, but haven't watched it yet. I would definitely recommend it. It's fairly lightweight as far as television goes, but Kyle touched my heart, and they do a good job of capturing what teenagers are like, IMO.
5) The good thing about haircuts you don't like is that they grow out pretty fast. It could be worse, a lady at my work went to get her eyebrows waxed and the girl accidentally took off half of one of them!
6) That sounds like a fabulous lunch hour! Yesterday it was over 100 degrees here, and three of us had a pizza delivered to the office so we wouldn't have to go outside in the raging heat. It felt quite decadent somehow.
7) That's a creepy, scary episode. Girls used to do Bloody Mary at slumber parties when I was in elementary school, and I always ended up in tears.
8) You, too! It's a three-day weekend here, but I'll probably go in and work on the holiday to make up for my plan to call in sick on Tuesday. I don't want to feel guilty while I'm wallowing in Winchesters. :D

4. I watched the 1st season & possibly 2nd of Kyle XY because they showed it on a local channel. After that it was only shown on cable/satellite TV which I didn't have.
5. Sorry about your hair. Hopefully it will grow out quickly.
7. Yes, Bloody Mary creeps me out, too. Good thing Supernatural didn't exist when I was a kid. I so used to try making her appear. Now I never say her name when facing a reflective surface either. I try to not even think her name. *shiver*
I just saw a video interview in which someone asked Kripke about Dean's bleeding eyes. Kripke said he would eventually get to it.

4. I watch KyleXY. It's been on hiatus for a long time here (I think it's back in January?). One word: Krycheck. Yup Nicholas Lea is a regular. And it's a good series. I thought the first season was better than the second, but that often happens.

3. Hawaii is lovely, I agree. Let me think... If I fly out Tuesday morning my time I should arrive by Tuesday morning Hawaii time. It's only a 14 hour flight or something. I could then take a cab from the airport to Best Buy to pick up the DVD. Jump back in the cab back to airport for a flight home at lunchtime Tuesday which means I'd be back in Melbourne in time for work on Wednesday. Hmm, unfortunately I don't think I can get Tuesday off work, otherwise, I'd totally do it! ;)
4. KRYCEK!!! Nicholas Lea is the one and only reason why I watched it the other night. I looked it up on IMDB and saw that it had an irregular schedule but I think I saw it was back for S3 in Jan '09.
6. Time to get creative! I'm going to check in Kmart today.
7. Kripke knows how to drag these things out, doesn't he. I wonder if he thinks if he leaves it long enough we'll all forget? Not likely, Kripke!

2. I want that impala! :( But mom says no because since technically she'll be buying the dvds for me (using my credit card, but she pays the bills at the moment) so it's saving money vs getting a shiny impala. I already have one though, but it's like a '66.

And didn't you watch that Kripke interview with the CW source at Comic Con? They asked him about the bloody mary eyes, and he said that part of him wants to just keep it to himself (cause he knows) because it would be awkward to just bring up 'hey, remember when my eyes bled because of Bloody Mary?' LOL, and part of him is trying to find a way to work it into a show somewhere

I didn't see the Kripke interview. Seriously! He can't keep it to himself!!! We need to know! Imagine if he doesn't find a way to tell it in the show... In 30 years time, we'll all be snapping up copies of Kripke's newly released memoirs to finally find out what was going on with Dean's eyes. XD

I mainlined S1 and then got my hands on S2 as soon as I could - as I was telling a new recent convert, yes it is super sweet and family oriented, but its also clever and funny and got that whole Dark-Angel like sci-fi conspiracy thing going for it, PLUS! Nick Lea. And other v.v cute boys. All in all - whats not to love??

Kyle is so sweet and innocent; I can't wait to see how his character develops. And the mystery surrounding Kyle has me intrigued. Nicholas Lea IS the reason I watched in the first place so I was extremely excited to see him in the first episode :)
