... as seen in 3x08: A Very Supernatural Christmas.

I'm not a big one for picspams. I've only ever done one before. But while I was screen capping 3x08 for iconing purposes, I couldn't help but notice how often Jared's mouth was turned down at the corners. I collected the most obvious ones, as well as a few other sweet pics of the boys, and this is what I came up with.

Perhaps it's just me but Jared reminds me so much of Beaker from The Muppets here. And I mean that extremely affectionately :)

Definitely no pout but who can resist a sweet Sammy smile... even if it is a sadish sweet Sammy smile.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who recognised the similarities! :D
Imagine if Sammy cut his hair short like Dean, and dyed it orange. We'd never be able to tell the difference ;)

I so want to see that. I can just imagine Dean and Sam waiting in the dark for some hideous beast they have been tracking, to come out of hiding, and Sammy is sitting there with his quivering bottom lip repeating endlessly, "meepmeepmeepmeepmeep!".

For some reason I now also have visions of Dean cooking as the Swedish Chef... *facepalm* I mean, seriously. I don't even know if Dean can cook ;)

Ah, very true. But all we've seen Dean 'cook' as a kid is make Sam scabetti-Os, and throw an unidentified package of foodstuff(jerky???)and a bag of onion flavoured rings at him. *lol* ("Don't forget your vegetables.")

And since we've joined their adventures as adults, Sam hasn't actually eaten at all a whole lot, so there really hasn't been the need for Dean to cook :P

Yeah but I can't see John alowing his kids to live off of Chef- boy - RD (it's expensive and they wouldn't be good little soldures on crapy food) Plus they so woudln't look like htey do if they ate liek that.

Funny about Sam never eating - since Jared seems to eat every thign in sight. We do see evadence of Sam haveing eaten. In Faith when Dean checks himslef out of the hospital there are like 16 pizza boxes in the room. Also pizza after Sam - well in All Hell pt2

Nice pick up about the Pizza boxes in Faith. I've never noticed that. In Phantom Traveler he was munching on a doughnut too. And yep, the pizza and friend chicken in AHBL2.

It is strange how Sam doesn't seem to eat. I've often wondered if it's developed into a bit of an 'in' joke amongst the cast & crew. Dean chowing down on everything in sight definitely has to be part of an on-going joke. I can imagine Jensen reading each new script and groaning when he reads Dean has yet another eating scene. It must be horrible, especially if he has to do retake after retake of biting into a burger or sandwich :)

Sam seems to be tempted by pizza and Dean seems to be tempted chicken... Yeah the doughnut in Phanton Traveler.

yeah the re take thing I remember Jared saying he ate 16 doughnuts for PT...
