NAME THAT EPISODE! - from the Season Two Gag Reel

I posted a Supernatural Season Two Gag Reel Picspam the other day, and sarahk_63 wanted to know which episode one of the scenes was from and if anyone had matched the out-takes to particular episodes. I hadn't seen anything like that around, and since I obviously have way too much time on my hands, I gave it a shot.

I went through the Gag Reel and tried to match each scene to a particular episode. It wasn't all that tricky although there were a few I couldn't figure out.

I believe, but could be mistaken, that the birdie with the yellow sun and "weird town scene" is from Hollywood Babylon, overlooking the studio lot.

Isn't the one with 'I love Jensen' on the sign from Born Under a Bad Sign? Or Phantom Traveler from season one?

It is from Born Under a Bad Sign. BUT it is the same scene that was used in Phantom Traveler, in S1. They were trying to see if we were paying attention in BUABS, me thinks *g*

The only difference between the two scenes was what was written on the sign post (under I ♥ Jensen). This ones says "Twin Lakes 100", the one in Phantom Traveler says "Nazareth 3".

(That clip had me ROTF! btw) I wasn't sure what he was saying, I thought it sounded like "The trains!" which makes NO sense. lol! I like your dialog better (g)

I was sure it was "I'm free!!!" Perhaps I only heard that, because that's exactly what I'd be saying if I had just 'escaped' from a fun house! But then, maybe I have no sense of adventure. *g*

Thanks for these. I was guessing that both the Jensen and Jared shots, wearing the thong, would have been the same day/episode. It was just that I couldn't work out either of them. *facepalm* I was sure the wallpaper behind Jensen's head would give it away to someone.

Updated! Thank you. I felt sure I should know the scene but I just couldn't place it.

A few of the scenes I went by what they were wearing, and then quickly flicked through different eps looking at their outfits. However, they wear similar looking clothes with annoying frequency. *headdesk*

I'm glad you've found it helpful. I enjoyed doing it. It was like a little game *g*

As for the scenes you've mentioned, I'm not sure that there is a 'joke' behind them. Or if there is, I haven't read of one. I think perhaps the boys and the other actors just found something humorous in their lines.

You know how things get once a person starts laughing at something really silly, it's kind of contagious, and people around them start laughing. It gets to the point where you just have to look at the other person and you start laughing *L*

However, I suspect the one where Jensen orders something different, was probably a deliberate attempt on his part to get Jared (and other cast & crew) to laugh. :)

Thanks! It actually wasn't all that tricky. A handful of scenes stumped me, but other people jumped in and helped me out, so it's all good.

The worst part was having to watch the Gag Reel over and over and over again... And then going back to watch bits of different episodes to double check. You know, having to watch so much of those two boys was kind of tough. *g*

That was helpful thank you! I was wondering about the 'drob' thing, and the kid running away from the Fun House...
Anyway, am I the only one that sees the creepy frame on like 4,03? It flashes for a second. It's the demon from Crossroad Blues ;)
And after viewing all these bloopers I can comfirm I'm in love with JA's laughter :)

And WOW! Nice spotting at 4:03! I hadn't noticed it at all. I managed to freeze the frame on the image that flickers on the screen and, yep, it's the demon from Crossroad Blues. Unfortunately, I can't post a screen cap because I'm at work, and media player is too smart for it's own good when it comes to even trying to take a 'screen shot' of it. It won't let you save the image.

However, the shot is similar to the one below, or at least it's taken from the same angle, because you can just make out Dean's shoulder in the gag reel shot.
