Day 5: I have a list of things today.

Day 5: I have a list of things today.
- Having our team Christmas Lunch for work at the The Willows today. There was even Egg Nog.
- Knowing I don't have to be back at work until January 5th 2009. \O/
- Bringing my white Christmas tree and Castiel tree topper home. I think it makes Winnie happy too... I've already found a candy cane on the floor. As long as I don't find Castiel on the floor, it's all good.
- Being in bed at 9:30 PM
- Falling asleep by 9:40 PM. The thought of this makes me happy even if it doesn't actually happen.

Your Christmas Tree looks like this:

You know you definitely watch too much Supernatural when the angel on the very top of your Christmas Tree looks like this:

Today's post is brought to you at the all-new early time of 6:00PM.
Except to me, 6:00pm it late because I'm still stuck at work. I've been here since 7:50am and now I'm waiting on someone to assign something back to me before I can leave. Because I didn't want to waste my time and I wanted to use it productively, I've been reading my flist. You may even see the odd comment from me! \O/ *facepalm*
I'm pretty much on my own for the next two weeks while work!bff is taking holidays. There is a third person who 'works' with us but, yeah, ... let's just say I'm pretty much on my own. It's been a busy few days and I don't think it's going to let up any time soon.
Yesterday morning I did get find about 20 minutes to start decorating the Christmas Tree for my desk. It's a work in progress but here's a sneak peek..

No photos of Winnie to share today but perhaps I'll post tomorrow and start a tradition of 'Hey, Wednesday! Winchester!' Or, you know, not... :)
This is quite possible to fasted LJ entry I've ever done. Any spelling or grammatical errors are entirely mine.
Happy Tuesday!

I'm tired. I just want to sleep, yo, for like a week.
---
Last night I baked some jam cookies. Lots of jam cookies. ---
Unfortunately, I came to the not-so-startling realisation that cookies and I just don't get on and I may have said, "oh, fudge!" more than once. Madge Carrigan would be proud of me. ---
Do you think TV chefs like Jamie Oliver, are born with asbestos hands or do they acquire them through years of getting hot things out of the oven?
---
I watched Christmas episodes of my three favourite TV shows:
(In viewing order. Preferential order may vary slightly)
"Amends" - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
"The Ghosts who stole Christmas" - X-Files
"A Very Supernatural Christmas" - Supernatural
I love being able to add "A Very Supernatural Christmas" to my list of shows/movies I watch every Christmas.

Despite having a laundry list of things I really needed to get done this weekend my brain decided my first priority should be to make a SUPERNATURAL ADVENT CALENDAR! The idea took hold during the day and I couldn't shake the pesky little bugger. It was kinda funny because my brain actually demanded I make two:
Supernatural Advent Calendar 1 - This is the 'unopened' version. Previously 'opened' days are closed but are still clickable. It'll make sense once you look. Honest.
Supernatural Advent Calendar 2 - This is an 'opened' version. Photos revealed on previous days are displayed in place of the top photo. It'll make sense once you look... again. Honest.
So, I have Supernatural Advent Calendars. Yay me! But it is now the wee hours of Sunday morning and due to my serious case of procrastination I can only cross off one item from my list. *sigh*
On a side note, one of our neighbours is having a party and they are singing along to Elton John. Very loudly and very badly. I just wish they'd put on 'Khe Sahn' so they can all drunkenly sing along and call it a night. Seriously, dudes! It's 2:22 am! *eyeroll*
And another side note (from the other side this time),
munibunny! I am watching Tim! Mary and Tim have just gone to the beach house for the first time. *nods* Mel Gibson is only a baby. *g*

We had our work 'Christmas Lunch' yesterday. I know! It's only November!
Lunch was a Buffet at The Conservatory Lounge at Crown Casino. All the food was pretty good but the bestest thing was they had one of the chocolate fountain thingies. OMG! I could have just gone back for bowl after bowl of that. Unfortunately, I think I'm coming down of the sugar-high this evening.
After lunch we, minus a few party-poopers, went ten-pin bowling. I'm kind of paying for it today with a sore arm and being a bit stiff. I'm a terrible bowler so I won't be sharing my scores *hangs head in shame* but it was a lot of fun. We have such a mixed bunch of people at work and don't usually do stuff like this together but it was a great way to spend the afternoon.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of you celebrating the holiday today.
If you could possibly squeeze it in, please have an extra piece of Pumpkin Pie for me!
