1). Hey, Hey, It's Saturday! \O/

A little shout out there to a cheesy Australian variety show popular during the 70s, 80s and 90s. Oh, man... How I miss Ossie Ostrich and Dickie Knee and that little barbie angel thing they had for a while there.

2). Plans for today include:

• Laundry - Lots of laundry. I hate laundry.
• Shopping - Rebel Sport for a new Melbourne Storm jacket.
• Culture - Visiting the National Gallery of Victoria to see their Art Deco exhibition.
• Horror - Watching 'Boogeyman' and 'My Bloody Valentine' tonight. *makes popcorn*

3). I've been to JB HiFi twice in the past two days and ended up going a bit spazzy. (See 'Current Music' *g*) In addition to 'Dr Quinn Medicine Woman Season 1, I found a copy of the original 'My Bloody Valentine' and also stocked up my country music CD collection. (Montgomery Gentry, Toby Keith, Big & Rich, and Emerson Drive).

4). Rainbow bolted inside last night freaked the hell out by something. She hid behind the couch, peeking out at me with the biggest pair of eyes you have ever seen. Think 'Puss in Boots' from Shrek. *worries a lot*

When I went near her, she growled and hissed at me. Her eyes kept darting to the door as if she was looking out for something. At one stage I thought she may have been injured somehow because she wouldn't let me touch her right paw at all. By the time I went to bed she seemed fine, despite having a little trouble jumping up on the bed. (Yes, I spoil her)

This morning, she is pretty much back to her usual self. She's outside now, soaking up some rays, but she's only about 5 inches from the door. *still a little worried*

5).Stupid internet connection keeps cutting out. Hopefully I'll get to post this before it cuts out again. I suspect I won't get much further than that. I'll try back this afternoon/evening to read my flist.

6). Happy *insert appropriate day of the week here*! (Is this getting old yet? :P)

I remember Hey hey its Saturday..and that makes me feel old lol
oh your day sounds fun! Ill trade you? Im at work *pout*
oh JB is so dangerous! I need to not go there, I spend soo much money meep!
aww poor Rainbow *pets*
*pokes your internet*
have a great day and let me know what you think of Boogeyman :)

From: [identity profile] katysam.livejournal.com

I know what you mean. When I looked it up on IMDB it said it started in 1971... at least it's older than us :)

Work again :( Hopefully you've got today (sunday) off.

JB is evil. I think from now on I'll just go in with enough cashy money to buy what I originally wanted and no more!

Rainbow seems okay now. *sigh*

I watched Boogeyman. OMG! I started at about 11:00 last night and almost had to turn it off because the beginning freaked me out! I kept looking behind me. lol. It kind of went downhill from there but I enjoyed it enough. Not really sure what happened in the end. o_O

Oh, I did realise if you do a show for Kripke and your character's name is 'Jess', you are most definitely doomed. Does Kripke know someone in real life called Jess/Jessica who he really doesn't like? ;) I was surprised at the number of similarities between Boogeyman and Supernatural. It's almost as if Boogeyman was a sounding board for some of the stuff you see on Supernatural All in all, it was worth the $6.98 :D

Hehe I used to watch Hey Hey it's Saturday. I loved it so much

Have fun at the gallery, let me know if the exhibiton is any good

Enjoy your good weekend!

Hey, Hey was a great show. I miss it. Besides Rove, there isn't really too many Australian shows these days which have guests on for interviews or performances. I used to love watching the reaction of the overseas guests when they were interviewed by Ossie Ostrich, or Dickie Knee popped up in front of them.

The exhibition was good. There wasn't as much there as I thought there would be but it gives a lot of history into how Art Deco came about and there are a fair few different kinds of pieces on display. It was so crowded! Not sure a fine sunny weekend was the best time to go.

Enjoy what's left of your weekend! :)

2. I have laundry to do as well. Ugh. I also have to snap up tickets for the Red Wings home opener. It'll be awesome to be there for the banner-raising ceremony. *squees*

• Horror - Watching 'Boogeyman' and 'My Bloody Valentine' tonight. *makes popcorn* W00T!!!!!!!!!!!

*giggles insanely* The original MBV is a favorite of mine. Have you seen it before? *sigh* I do so adore the cheesy slasher/horror flicks from the 80's! I'm sooooo going the the theater to see Jensen's version (F13 too) & I HATE dealing with the general movie-going public. *sigh* The things I'll suffer to see my boys.

4. Demon, maybe?! *pets Rainbow*

From: [identity profile] katysam.livejournal.com

Did you get your tickets? Is the banner-raising ceremony to do with winning the Cup last season?

I've never seen My Bloody Valentine... and I still haven't. I got home a lot later than I expected so I only had time to watch Boogeyman. Jensen's version of MBV and Jared's F13 were going to be released here on the same day so we were excitedly planning a double feature horror screening but I think the dates have changed now :(

It may have been a Demon that freaked Rainbow out. Perhaps I should lay salt lines before I got to bed ;)

From: [identity profile] raputathebuta.livejournal.com

No...the tickets were pretty much sold out! *cries* Yes...they have this big to-do because we won the Cup. Everyone who goes to the game gets miniature replicas of the the banner that they raise. *cries again*

It's actually okay, since I'm going to at least 10 games this season. *grin*

Let me know when you watch MBV! I'll be interested in your thoughts! It's so awesomely cheesy. *plots to watch on Sunday*

Oh man...a double feature of J & J! That would ROCK!!!!!! I thnk my girly parts would explode.

Salt...salt is always a good idea.

From: [identity profile] katysam.livejournal.com

That's a shame you didn't get tickets for the first game. :( *hugs*

*still haven't watch MBV*

Double J&J Feature would rock! I think it would definitely work from a marketing standpoint and from a fangirl standpoint! ;)

I think she's fine now. She's asleep on my lap, purring and dribbling on my arm. :)
She did make me panic the other night though. She was acting so strangely she she almost had me in tears. :(

That happens to me when I can't comfort the cats or the fish is being sluggish.
