...Original Benadryl has so many uses.

My 'cold' was getting a tad annoying today so I figured I'd get me some Benadryl to help with my cough, sore throat, sneezing and runny nose. I don't like cough lollies and the such and I know Benadryl helps so that's what I had my heart set on. The fact that it tastes scrumptious to boot, is an added advantage.

So, I head on over to the local Pharmacy to get some Original Benadryl. Easy as! Right? Wrong. Apparently, the majority of people who purchase Original Benadryl do so for the sole purpose of keeping their methamphetamine lab going. Seriously, dudes. It's BENADRYL!!!

Due to this startling revelation, the Original stuff is kept behind behind the counter and out of sight. I suspect, so as not to tempt you into delving into the life of a criminal mastermind. I mean, really, the 'light' Benadryl (from which you can't make illicit drugs) is behind the counter anyway.

Funny thing, once you assure them that you don't have a chemistry set bubbling away in your basement at home, it's all good and they hand over the bottle with out so much as your name, rank or serial number. As if someone is going to go in there and say "No, it's not for my cough. I need it to make a quick couple of thou' on the street tonight..."

What's the World coming to?

It's Thursday lunchtime and I have so much to do and so little time in which to do it.

Things to Do:

  1. Read Supernatural: Origins, #1 - Am a little unsure what this is going to be like. If I only I could bring myself to turn to the first page *lol*
  2. Read The Long Way Home, Part iii (Buffy Season 8 comic) - Willow's back!
  3. Catch up with Episode 2.21 of Plastic Winchester Theater - Seriously, I get way too much joy out of this little series then I think I should. Almost as much as the real thing :)
  4. Oh yeah, and that little thing call WORK.

Time to prioritise.
Something has got to go.
I am so voting WORK off the island.
