I'm running late with Winchester Wednesday today so I'm just going to stick with a small video of her.

Winnie Winchester: Part cat. Part monkey.

BTW, she did eventually dislodge herself and make her own way down from the tree. :)

Winnie has a ridiculously long tail! Long legs, long tail.
She's found a new tree to climb this week... one that she can jump onto the roof from. *shakes head* Why can't she be a normal cat?

Nope, there isn't. Which is why she's taken to climbing a huge tree in the front yard which has lots of big tall branches which allow a certain young cat to jump onto the roof of the house. If it's not one thing with Winnie it's another...

She just loves being up high! Tree, windowsill, table... anything that's not the ground or floor. :)
She's very much the monkey. If she started swinging by her tail, I wouldn't be surprised. ;)

Oh, what a special treat to see Winnie in action! I would be having a heart attack the whole time she was up so high, I'm way too over-protective. I can't wait to see what adventure she has next! :)

It is a bit nerve wracking seeing her up so high but she really is a good climber. Luckily most of the trees she climbs have lots of branches. If she slips she tends to hang a bit and can use nearby twigs and leaves to heave herself up again. Not that she slips much. Sometimes I really wonder if she was part monkey in a previous life. I know cats climb but not this much. Seriously! She's obsessed! :)
