UPDATING JOURNAL NOW. MUST BE FRIDAY.

Why is it I only think to update this thing on Friday? It's not as if it's the only day anything happens. I've come to the conclusion that blogging really is a habit you need to develop. Any topic or event can be blogged it's just a matter of remembering to do it.

Take Tuesday for example. I'm kicking myself I didn't update on Tuesday. That day, a great deal of my time (and my work mate's time) was spent looking out the office windows at the World below. It was raining so they had umbrellas. Fair enough. However, it was also VERY VERY VERY windy. Oh-oh. Umbrellas and wind do not mix. The results was a huge number of  inside and upside down umbrellas, a large percentage of which had no place to go other then the rubbish bin. Now, this was hi-larious on the day but ultimately it's lost a fair bit of hilarity now - even for me and I was there and it really was a 'had to be there' moment.

Win a dinner with Joss Whedon! - If only. This would be such an awesome experience. Of course, I wouldn't be able form any coherent sentences words within his presence so my end of the conversation would be extremely lacking. But three hours listening to this man just talk would be like nothing else. The auction starts on Monday and proceeds go to the charity Equality Now. I'm thinking Equality Now will get quite a nice pile of cashy money as a result of this.

Goonies of the Caribbean (Link to YouTube) - It's fantabulously freaky how well these two movies seem to fit together. Extremely clever editing.

The vid of Goonies and POC is crack-tastic! I love those two movies. :)

Also... dinner with Joss. Yes, I have to admit, there would be unabashed staring and open-mouthed awe for my part. Just as well I'm not going to ComicCon. *L*

Yeah, I love both as well. The Goonies still gets pulled out every couple of months and watched. I loved Mikey when I was a kid and got huge kick out of seeing him in Lord of the Rings.

I haven't got around to seeing the new Pirates movie yet. I'll have to do that soon.

Wonder if the 'preview' fooled anyone. I can totally imagine people who have no clue who The Goonies are thinking that Pirates 4 is about to be released *L*
