There's only 28 minutes of 2008 left for me so I better get on with posting this, the final Winchester Wednesday post for 2008, if I actually want to make it before midnight. (Some how I got distracted watching The Full Monty...)

Two months ago tomorrow, I met Winnie Winchester for the first time. I can't believe how much she's grown since then.

The green ribbon she's playing with was a Christmas present from my friend, Emma. It's attached to a plastic stick and originally had a couple of feathers on the end. Winnie ripped the feathers off within 48 hours of getting it! She loves playing with it and will run around the house with it in her mouth. She even drags it into my bedroom in the mornings, in the hope I will play with her at 6:30AM! :)

'Blue Mouse' was another one of her Christmas presents. She also got a motorised plastic ball which rolls about the floor for her.

The Christmas Tree: Winnie's favourite place to be over the past few weeks.
I bought Winnie the scratching post for Christmas.
She reminds me so much of Max and the wild things from the book, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak in these shots. :)

For your comparison ;)

I think she's trying to hide.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
