What do you get if you cross an Elephant with a Kangaroo?

Big holes all over Australia.

Ha! Is there anything as funny as an elephant joke? I think not.

But you'll be glad to know there is more to this post than a lame, yet amusing, jokes. It's time for...

Katy's Holiday Photos!

Remember I went on holiday with my mum recently? Well, turns out it wasn't as recent as I thought. It's been almost four weeks since I got home. Times sure flies. Anyway, I said I'd post some photos and the video of the kangaroo and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

The thing is, there are a lot of photos so I've broken them up into four posts with between 7 to 15 photos per post.

Individual Posts - Links to the next day at the end of each post
Days 1 & 2: Melbourne, Victoria to Adelaide, South Australia
Day 3: Adelaide, South Australia to Kingston SE, South Australia
DAY 4: Kingston SE, South Australia to Warrnambool, Victoria
DAY 5: Warrnambool, Victoria to 'Home', Victoria

This here is my one and only video:

Check out this little guy's 'radar' ears! This was one of the kangaroos we saw on Day 3. He probably ended up about 3 metres away from me while I was filming this.

Thanks for looking :)

Wow, you take glorious pictures! I really enjoyed them all, especially the ocean ones, the kangaroos, and the pelican. You captured some amazing skies, too. Straight out of National Geographic! And Lana Lang Shoes! LOL!

I love elephant jokes, actually. hee! And the vid was too cool. Radar ears, indeed! I've only ever seen a kangaroo in a zoo. About the most exotic animal I've seen in the wild is a moose. :)

Thanks for sharing all of these! It looks like you had a fabulous trip. Road trips are so much fun!

Thank you so much, I'm happy you liked them. And thank you for taking the time to look at them all - I know there were a lot. :)
It may have rained a fair bit but the uncertained weather makes for far more striking skies than clear sunny days.
I had to double back for the Lana Lang Shoes shop. And to think two months that name wouldn't have meant a thing to me.
His ears were pretty funny - the way they move independently of each other. As far as I'm concerned, seeing a moose in the wild is VERY exotic!:D

I was disappointed with the Rainbow Rocks so I decided to give my own touch of a rainbow! :D
