Just thought I'd get in early with the countdown for next year.
After a short break, I'm back at work today and the office Christmas Carols have been replaced by Johnny Cash. I really can't believe Christmas is over already. *sigh*
Christmas Day was just Mum, Dad, Grandma and I for a traditional Chrissy lunch - Turkey, pork, roast vegies, etc - and the first round of presents. Luckily this year it was only about 21°c on Christmas Day. I like it when it's cooler as there's something funny about having a traditional hot lunch when the weather outside is 30°c+, which can happen quite often on Christmas Day here.
Christmas night Andrew, Lisa, Adelaide and Eloise dropped by for dinner and to exchange more pressies and to walk up our street to see the houses decorated with Christmas lights.
Yesterday (Boxing Day) Mum, Dad, Grandma and I went to Jenny, Michael, Sam and Nick's for lunch and to exchange even more pressies.
Wow. Christmas really is all about the food and commercialism, isn't it? ;)
I was going to post a few photos but I haven't had a chance to go through them yet. Actually, I don't remember taking all that many except when we were at Jenny's, where I know I took a hundred or so photos of Nick's Christmas present. He got a K'Nek Roller Coaster set for Christmas and he'd spent the morning putting it together. It's kinda cool and has a motor and a chain which pulls the little coaster cars to the top of the coaster and then they whiz down to the bottom where they catch the chain and start all over again. At one stage there were at least three cameras out trying to catch a photo of the roller coaster cars as they zoomed passed.

I also got a Crumpler Gift Voucher and lots of chocolate. :)
