I can't see and I never knew...

On Thursday afternoon, while Mum was in hospital and Dad had another appointment, I took Grandma to get her eyes checked after her cataract surgery about a month ago. (Everything happens at once, I tell you.) While looking at all the eye charts on the wall I figured I might as well give myself an eye test.

Well, imagine my shock when I covered my right eye and tried reading the chart with my left eye, only to discover all the letters were blurry. Holy crap!

I made an appointment to get a proper test done this morning and guess what? I need glasses. And not just for reading either. Apparently my eyes is no longer round, they are oval, with my left eye much worse than my right.

Mum helpfully pointed out my eyes are probably on their way to becoming square because I watch too much TV. I guess she could be right...
