According to David Duchovny we are. He says the script has been written - by Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz -  and he expects to get a copy some time next week.

Cool.

UPDATE: It's on ABC.NET.AU so it must be true. =)

YES WAY!!!

It's all over my Google Alerts so it really really must be true. Somewhere I think I read a rumoured release date of Summer 2008. Can they even make a movie that fast?

I'll believe it's actually going to happen when I'm sitting in a comfy cinema chair with a bucket load of popcorn and Mulder and Scully show up on the big screen to entertain me *g*
