Katy
The one which appears on my birth certificate. It's not short of anything. I haven't forgotten the 'h'. It's Katie with a 'Y'.
Katysam
User/screen name and nickname given to me by my mum. It makes more sense if you know my middle name is Samantha.
Tristo
Nickname which came about on a road trip I took with one of my rl!bffs back in 1999. At the time, Tristo (or more accurately, Tristan) was a player for our favourite sporting club, Melbourne Storm. A fictional conversation between Lisa and I, pretending to me Matty Geyer (another player) and Tristan Brady Smith, lead to me being called Tristo and Lisa being called Matty. For some reason, Tristo stuck. It could be because I often refer to myself as 'Tristo' in the third person. Or it might not. :) Even Lisa's three year old son, Ryan, and his three year old cousin, Campbell, call me Tristo. Well, Aunty Tristo. :P
THREE TV SHOWS THAT I WATCH
Supernatural
Sometimes it baffles me how much love I have for these fictional characters. But then I watch an episode and it all becomes clear. It makes me care. The characters make me care. The cast and crew make me care.
Leverage
I'm pretty certain no other television has drawn me in from the get-go as much as this little show has. It's clever, it's funny, it's totally unbelievable and I'm in love with it. I may also be little in love with Eliot, Nate, Hardison, Parker, and Sophie, and have a little crush on Christian Kane and Timothy Hutton.
Castle
The new kid on the block but I'm liking it. A lot.
THREE PLACES I HAVE BEEN
Central Park, New York.
With two rl!bffs, Emma and Lisa. We spent a sunny fall afternoon in 2002 sitting on a rock, people watching. As strange as it may sound, it's one of the most enjoyable and relaxing couple of hours I've ever spent, and is one of my fondest memories.
Boston
In 2006 I spent six days in Boston as part of a six week holiday. I was on my own and spent the days exploring Boston, carving pumpkins and helping attempt to break a record for the largest number of jack-o-lanterns lit at one place (just one day), visiting Salem MA, visiting Mystic CT (home of Mystic Pizza), going to Harvard and learning that Bostonians don't pronounce the 'r' on the end of their words (a bit like Aussies) and that tragedy hit the city in 1919 when a giant vat of molasses tipped over and flooded the streets Seriously. Boston is one of my favourite places I've been and I'd love to go back one day.

It's kind of cheating because I live here but it's my absolute favourite place I've ever been so I'm including it. :P

Yum! For those who aren't familiar with this incredible food stuff, Cheezals are a cheese flavoured snack food, a little like Cheetos, but they are in the shape of a ring. They are totally unhealthy - full of fat and MSG - but they taste so good. I'm especially fond of the mini variety.
Milk Duds
Hard to find in Melbourne, but worth the hassle.

Winnie (Cat)
You may be familiar with her from such things as 'Winchester Wednesday'. ;P Her full name is Winchester and she's named after those Winchester Boys from Supernatural.
Chocky (Cat)
Chocky was short haired tortoiseshell (black, orange, and white) and she was a lovely cat. A neighbour found her by the railway line and brought her home when she was just a wee kitten. My neighbour wasn't allowed to keep her but I was. :) She passed away in 2005. She was 16 years old and it still makes me sad thinking about it. Chocky was named after the title character of John Wyndham's book, Chocky.
Tegan (Cat)
Tegan was an odd-eyed (one orange and one blue eye) white long haired Persian. My sister got her for her 14th birthday (I think). Tegan was your typical pure breed in her aloofness and crankiness but she also had her cuddly, snugly side. Tegan simply went missing one day in 1997/98 when she was about 14 or 15 years old. We never saw her again. Tegan was named after one of Dr. Who's assistants, Tegan.

It's weird how Supernatural and Leverage have sort of taken over so much thinking time, huh? What would we do without those shows?!
I am so jazzed that you get to see the boys (all three of them) in a few weeks... OMG, DAYS!!! Remember to touch the fuzzy arm hair for me, right? And I want to know if his eyes are really as green as they appear. Oh, and there's that thing about the smooching.... Highly encouraged (with or without stuffed pickle).
BTW, I've been fighting with facebook for the past couple of days. Didn't figure out (until 3 am) that if I tag someone in a video, it appears on their wall. hahaha! Those freaky aps drive my crazy so I save them all up until they practically take up the entire wall. LOL Lame!
