T-minus 7 hours and 30 minutes until MBV3D

On my own at work today. It's almost the end of my lunch break and I've spent the past hour watching this week's Leverage, answering LJ comments and eating a roast beef with Salt & Vinger chip sandwich.

Now I've just got to make it through the afternoon before I leave at about 6:00PM to go meet team!shortbus at 7:30PM. We are seeing My Bloody Valentine 3D at 9:30PM.

I don't think I've been this excited about a movie since... since... since forever! Of course, I'm excited about seeing Team!Shortbus too because it's been forever since I've seen those girls! Forever or, you know, October (or November) last year. ;)

I'm not a hardcore horror fan at all! I used to watch the Elm Street movies when I was a kid but they're more funny than horror, especially the sequels. ;)

I've been warned not to expect an Oscar winner but I'm all set to enjoy it and 3D!Jensen! LOL. :D

Yes, 3d Jensen is quite pretty, although the 'perspective' thing may bug you. Sometimes there will be stuff in the foreground and they will have the stuff farther off in focus, so the foreground is fuzzy and that kinda hurt my eyes, but yeah, in general it was fun (very predictable and cheesy, but at least the cast was hot, if I do say so myself, Kerr was WAY hotter looking than Jensen to me, just in the movie, like WOW, I was all 'Hello KERR *licks lips*' LOL)

Hell yeah! Kerr is ten kinds of hot! Like angry hot, he has this edge he plays in the movie, very well. And hello, men in uniform make me all weak in the knees!

My seating rec is in the middle (L to R) & a few rows back from the middle (front to back) of the theater.

I sat smack dab in the middle of my theater, but I think the next time I see it, I'll try a few rows back.

ETA: I don't know if your theater will "tell" you when to put your glasses on, but ours did, starting with a preview for Coraline. The MBV3D opening credits were major cool (to me). Also? Stay through to the end of the closing credits too. Nothing major, but there is a wee bit extra there.

I spent a lot of the time slouched down in seat, as if watching it from that angle was going to make it less gruesome. LOL
I'm not sure if I can put too many words together about it, and I probably should here because of spoilers, but JENSEN = PRETTY!!! He needs to do more BIG SCREEN MOVIES!

How awesome is it!!! I won't say too much here because of spoilers for others but OMG!

We were in the middle of the row but towards the back. I think I even ducked a few times and jumped a few more. It takes a lot for that to happen to be in a movie. Of course, I think it was probably because I'd been so distracted by the pretty of Jensen that I forgot that it was actually a horror movie. o_O
They put up on the screen when to put your glasses on. It was after the previews but before the titles. I thought the titles were done really well too. I got a little confused at the beginning of the movie but once again I think I was distracted by Jensen. ;)
