According to an article at The Futon Critic TNT has renewed Leverage for a second season. *twirls*
"TNT has ordered 15 new episodes of the popular, high-octane series, which stars Oscar winner Timothy Hutton (Ordinary People, Nero Wolfe), Gina Bellman (Coupling), Christian Kane (TNT's Into the West), Beth Riesgraf (Without a Trace) and Aldis Hodge (Friday Night Lights).
LEVERAGE currently airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), with the second season slated to begin later this year."
The article is spoiler free and talks a lot about how great the ratings are and how awesome our show is. Like we didn't know that! :D
You know you love a show when you refer to it as our/my show. XD
*throws Leverage renewal party and you're all invited*

I have never seen this show.
I have nearly a dozen shows I watch already and I don't want to add more unless it is excellent.
I watch shows like Supernatural, Smallville and Heroes, so that is the kind of stuff I am into.
So, Leverage.
Sell it to me.

This is the best news this side of hearing Supernatural has been renewed for a fifth season... and I've got my fingers crossed for that bit of news to be announced very very soon. ;D

Can I start by telling you I'm currently on a 100% success rate for converting people to the awesomeness of Leverage? I haven't lead anyone astray yet. XD Trust me!
The shows you've mentioned all have a 'supernatural' element to them. There's nothing 'supernatural' about Leverage but it does have fantastic cast, unique characters, clever and witty writing, and awesome action. And it has 'Parker'. Parker is one of the quirkiest characters ever.
L = Likable Characters, lovable even.
E = Excellent Writing
V = Very talented cast and very likable too.
E = Entertaining.
R = Role Playing.
A = Action.
G = Grin inducing
E = Eliot Spencer and Alec Hardison and Parker and Nathan Ford and Sophie Devereaux.
You have to suspend belief in regards to some of the stuff they manage to do, and the way they McGyver their way out of situations, but for me that's all part of it's charm. Each week you are taken on a grand adventure with these guys. They are modern day, technologically savvy, fast talking, smart thinking and, when required, heavy handed, Robin Hoods.
In addition to the 'case of the week' there is a back story which has been slowly unfolding. Each week we learn, by way of little flashbacks, something new about one of the characters. Each character has a history. We don't know those histories yet but I know I can't wait to find out about them.
The bottom line is, it's a fun show and you just know they had a hell of a lot of fun making it. It doesn't take itself too seriously. It's not too angsty. It's easy to watch. It's a pleasure to watch.
If you can, at least give the first episode a chance. Even if you decide not to watch any further episodes I'm pretty sure it's 56 minutes you won't regret watching. *nods*
Oh, and did I mention Christian Kane is in it? Just beware of his long shiny hair. It's mesmerising in it's prettiness. XD

I seriously can't wait for April now!
I'll have to see what I can do about booking accommodation for Friday and Sunday nights. I'm sure we can fly back during the day on Monday.

Fringe is getting way out there. I watched this week's episode yesterday and I was, like, what's going on?!?!? I have a feeling things are going to get a lot more complicated before the end of the season.

Fringe kinda took the easy way out there I think this week. John Scott wasn't a traitor, he was just undercover! Pfft. But otherwise, I love it!
