The Weekend So far...

1). Team!Shortbus Outing Yesterday: After much indecisiveness, we settled on seeing 'Tropic Thunder'. I lost count on the number of people we let go in front of in the queue because we couldn't decide. It was a pretty funny movie and not at all what I expected. All I knew about it was that Jack Black was in it (that was the selling point for me) so I was surprised to see a few other actors in there who, at first, I didn't even recognise!
2). Before the movie we headed up to JB Hifi (DVD/Music store). The do good out of Team!Shortbus! I picked up a copy of the, 'Friday Night Lights' (the movie), for $12.98 and then, just near the checkout, we spotted copies of Eric Kripke's 'Boogeyman for $6.89! Score! \O/
3).

4). Last night I was working on the laptop at the coffee table. I got up to do the dishes and look what I found when I got back...

5). It's Father's Day today so I've got to get moving so I can go home with Dad's present this afternoon.
6). And then, tonight I'm going to the final regular season Melbourne Storm game. As a result of previous games this weekend, Storm must win their game tonight by about 28 points to finish on top of the ladder. *gulp*

3. He's very squishable.
4. I'm not really sure what the attraction was with the keyboard. *shakes head*
5. It was a bit of a case of 'whoops' because I had to stop on the way home to get him something, and it proved a little more difficult than I thought. But I made it and he seemed happy with his pressies so it all worked out okay in the end.
6. Storm rock!
Blue steel!
(as for famour people in it, that was Tom Cruise in a fatsuit btw. hee!)
Boogeyman seems to be making the rounds on the flist these days. I saw it when it came out; liked the way it was handled in the first two acts of the movie, but it kinda fell flat on its ass in the end. Shame. Kripke's love of urban legends is very evident though.
Re: Blue steel!
OMG! Tom Cruise! I didn't even recognise him to start with. My opinion of Tom Cruise has taken a beating over these past few years but this movie may have changed that a little. *lol*
I'm going to have to make time to watch Boogeyman soon :)

Ahahahahah cute kitty. *pats* If my kitty even knocks my laptop with her tail I go psycho, so you seem to have some restraint. What was kitty trying to write though I wonder? *thinks*

I think Rainbow was trying to play the cematary dancing scene from the Season Three Gag Reel. It was the window which was active when I dragged her off ;)

4. I don't understand cats. I mean, really, that doesn't look comfortable ;)
It was busier than I thought it would be. My day at work today was less stressful than my weekend. ;)

You previous cat sounds cute. It's amazing how much you miss them when they are gone, isn't it. I haven't had a cat at home since my last cat, Chocky, died over 3 years ago. I still miss her too.
