It's a brand new day and the sun is high...

or at least it was this morning. Turns out the weather was just taunting me because by lunchtime the sky was full of clouds and by this evening it was raining. So much for the first day of Spring. Ha!


1). I had to move desks at work today. More people are moving on to our floor so we've been shuffled around to make room for them. We didn't have to move far - just to the next 'pod' of four desks - but it has made me feel all disoriented. I'm sitting with my back to the world now. I'm sure I'll get used to it soon enough.



One plus of my new desk is that I have a pole right next to it. It's also a negative because it blocks my view out the window but the positive part is that I can decorate it! You know, I think I remember my Year 8 locker at High School looking similar to this; the faces were just a little different back then. Oh, except for Richard Marx, of course. ;)


Last Friday I mentioned work!bff went looking for a mini basketball hoop but we couldn't find one. Well, I found one on Saturday and this is what we needed it for. Rubbish Bin Basket Ball! \O/



2). Random Advice: Don't try to download songs from iTunes via a dial-up connection. I've been trying to download Brian McFadden's Twisted and it's taking forever. 12 minutes and counting...


3). I'm watching an old episode of Bones and I have to say Bones looks pretty good as Wonder Woman. Also, besides being tall, dark and handsome, Booth and Sam Winchester have something in common; They both suffer from coulrophobia. *nods* (Is David Boreanz tall? I have no idea...)


4). Storm needed the Manly Sea Eagles to lose tonight against the Gold Coast Titans but the Titans played like crap so Storm are now second on the ladder. We can't actually blame the Titans though because Storm shouldn't have lost on Saturday night. :( It all comes down to the final round of the season, next weekend, to determine who will get the minor premiership and how the first week of the finals will shape up.


5). 18 Sleeps til Supernatural 4x01.

Bummer about the weather going bad. The "Springs" here in Michigan usually suck, too.

1. Love the pole. If ya have to look at it, it might as well have nice-to-look-at things on it.

2. So how long did it eventually take?

3. Yeah, between Stephen King's "It", "Everybody Loves a Clown" and that episode of Bones, I suffer from it, too. According to imdb.com He's 6'1", the same height as Jensen.

5. I'm starting to flip out. I now have a class Thursday nights and will probably get home right about when the show starts. I can only hope a) there is a TV available I can watch & b) no one wants to chit chat with me as soon as I do get home. Living as a guest in someone else's home has disadvantages.

Your new desk looks lovely! I need to post pictures of my desk again since I changed it up. I will do this tomorrow, as today is a holiday stateside so I'm not at work! I"m watching No Exit right now. I should get thru all of season 2 before bed tonight so I can start Season 3 DVDs TOMORROW!!!

oh i could've told you that ... dial-up sux. i remember trying to download a song someone emailed to me, and it kept freezing. it's bad enough trying to just normally surf the web - downloads are just a no-no :/

I'm randomly commenting on posts I missed in the past week or so of craziness in my life. Expect me all over the place, in no apparent order. :)

1) Your workspace looks very cheery and fun! What is the thingie with all the colorful little tags? Rubbish Bin Basket Ball looks like a great time. Nothing like that could ever happen at the dreary place where I work, but I enjoy getting a vicarious thrill through you!

2) I remember dial-up. it sucked.

3) I loved that episode of Bones! And she was so cute when she twirled! Booth was hilarious.

BTW, I figured out you're 17 hours ahead of me, so it's Saturday afternoon where you are. It's almost midnight on Friday night here. That kind of blows my mind. I'm visualizing you having weekend fun right now. :)
