Two Weeks to Make all their Wrongs Right

  1. Woke up today to the news today that Gilmore Girls is not being renewed for another season. There are two remaining episodes of season 7 left to air in the USA and then it's all-over-red-rover. Of course, over here we are years behind and are only at the end of Season 5. I haven't seen anything past this point even though you can buy Season Six on DVD. You see,  I've been following the lives of the folks from Stars Hollow via the wonders of the internet for the past two years and came to the sad realisation about half way through S6 that the show was just toying with its viewers especially with the Lorelai/Luke/Christopher triangle thingy they have going. I don't want to be toyed with so I refused to watch anymore until I know how it all ends. Now, they have two weeks to give me a happy ending. If not, in my little world the final episode of Gilmore Girls will always be the last episode of S5.

  • So, I got everything done on my 'To Do' list yesterday, even including the work part.

Supernatural: Origins was kinda cool even if it is one of the UGLIEST comic books I have ever seen. The way the characters are depicted is not at all attractive and I'd go as far as describing Mary as 'horrifying'. And it's not in a scary, thrilling, Supernaturally good way. Not sure what I expected. Possibly for the characters in the comic to be a little more realistic and to look at least a little like the actors who portray them in the show. Maybe the Buffy and Serenity comics have spoilt me.  There are both so very pretty. Still, the Supernatural:Origins story is great and I'm looking forward to the next edition.

BONUS: The brothers actually HUG in the comic! Granted, they are 10 and 6 years old at the time. They obviously got their "Personal Brother Proximity Alert & Force Fields" installed some time between 1989 and 2007.

  • Happy Supernatural Day (USA)

This week's episode, What is and What Should Never Be, sounds excellent. I've been looking forward to this one since I first read spoilers back at the beginning of February. And I'm using all my will power this afternoon to stay away from any websites which may have spoilers now that it's aired.

Next week, it's the first part of the two-part series finale. There's so much for them to cover in next two episodes. I'm not sure how they are going to do it but knowing the cast, crew and writers they will not only do it but do it with style. Even if they don't wrap up everything - they need a little to work with for season 3, right (fingers crossed for renewal) there's a few things I definitely want to happen:

    1. Boys. Hug. Each. Other. - Awww, I'm thinking this will happen in today's episode.
    2. Sammy needs to eat something! - Seriously, the dude never eats. Ever.
    3. An explanation on the significance of Dean's necklace that is he is always wearing.
    4. I want to see Andy and Ava return - I like them.

That's it. I ask for so little.
